NOTE

Heater center compartment cover comes with two mounting holes, five are required. Drill three additional

0.390 in. (9.91 mm) holes in heater center compartment cover as shown on drawing 209770.

30. Install five nutserts (42) on heater center compartment cover (43).

31. Install five bezels (44) on heater center compartment cover (43).

32. Install five identification markers (45) of

optic ribbon (46) in five bezels (44) on heater

center compartment cover (43).

33. Install fan label (47) on heater center

compartment cover (43).

34. Install A/C temperature label (48) on heater

center compartment cover (43).

35. Install A/C cable (49) on heater center

compartment cover (43) with

lockwasher (50) and nut (51).

36. Install defrost cable (52) on heater

center compartment cover (43) with

lockwasher (53) and nut (54).

37. Install heat cable (55) on heater center

compartment cover (43) with

lockwasher (56) and nut (57).

38. Install temperature control switch (58)

on heater center compartment

cover (43) with nut (59).

39. Install knob (60) on temperature control

switch (58) with two screws (61).

40. Install fan switch (62) on heater center

compartment cover (43) with nut (63).

41. Install knob (64) on fan switch (62)

with two screws (65).

42. Install wire harness wires, red, brown

and orange (66) on fan switch (62).

43. Install one end of wire assembly 1156 (67) on IN terminal of temperature control switch (58).

44. Install other end of wire assembly 1156 (67) on terminal C of fan switch (62).
