Install  refrigeration  charging  manifold  and  manifold  hoses  (para 5-3, 1 thru 5). Start engine (para 2-8b) and observe Insert the expansion valve bulb in a low pressure gauge. cup of ice. NOTE when  refrigerant Engine  will  automatically  stop pressure drops below 24 psi (165 kN/m2). Hold toggle switch S-3 in START position to prevent engine from stopping during test. 5-40
