C H A P T E R    1 INTRODUCTION Section   I. 1-1.  S c o pe a. These  instructions  are  published  for  the  use  of the  personnel  to  whom  the  Trane  Company  Models MAC6H9-115-1101-01, MAC6H9-230-1101-02, MAC6H9-208-1101-03,    and    MAC4H9-208-1101- 04  Air  Conditioners  are  issued.  Chapters  1  through 4   provide   information   on   the   operation,   preventive maintenance   services, and   organizational   main- tenance   of   the   equipment,   accessories,   components, and   attachments.   Chapters   5   and   6   provide   in- formation   for   direct   and   general   support   main- tenance.  Also  included   are   descriptions   of   main units  and  their  functions   in   relationship   to   other components. b.  The   Organizational,   Direct,   and   General Support  Maintenance  Repair  Parts  are  listed  and illustrated    in    TM    5-4120-239-34P    (when    printed). c. Preparation,  care  and  removal  of  equipment  in administrative   storage   will   be   in   accordance   with the   applicable   requirements   of   T M    7 4 0 - 9 0 -1 (Administrative   Storage   of   Equipment).
