For most effective destruction use high explosive shoulder weapons (recoiless rifle, rocket launcher, etc). Incendiary weapons are also  recommended. 4-6. Other Demolition Methods a. If  components  cannot  be  destroyed  or smashed, drain the oil from the compressor. and discharge the refrigerant. Operate the unit at full speed. Warning:  Do not inhale refrigerant fumes or  make  bodily  contact  with  the  refrigerant. Discharge refrigerant into the atmosphere. b. Components may be removed and scattered and concealed by burial in remote areas. Remove any evidence of burial by brushing ground with, branches. c. If a lake, river, or other large enough body of water is’ available, the unit and component may be destroyed by submersion. Be certain that the unit and any components are completely sub- merged and not visable from the surface. 4-1
