R e p o r t a n y d e f i c i e n c i e s u s i n g t h e proper forms, see TM 38-750.
b . Equipment is Not Ready/Available If: column. This column shall contain
t h e criteria that will cause the equipment to be classified as not ready/available
f o r r e a d i n e s s r e p o r t i n g p u r p o s e s .  A n entry in this column will:
( 1 ) Identify conditions that make the equipment not ready/available
for readiness reporting purposes.
( 2 ) Deny use of the equipment until corrective maintenance has been
performed.

which you may find during the operation or maintenance of the air conditioner or it's
components.
Y o u should perform the test/inspections and corrective actions in the
order listed.
b . This manual cannot list all malfunctions which may occur. However, all
tests or inspections and corrective actions are listed for most common malfunctions.
If a malfunction is not listed, or is not corrected by listed corrective action,
notify your supervisor.

Controls not properly set.
Step 1.
Set controls for starting. (Refer to figure 2-1.)
Power supply leads loose or not connected.
Step 2.
Check power supply leads and tighten, or connect leads
as required.
Step 3.
P u l l , then push circuit breaker knob. (Refer to figure 2-2.)
2. AIR CONDITIONER NOISY DURING OPERATION
Panels loose.
Step 1.
Tighten fasteners or replace defective fasteners as required.
