(4) Further adjustment can be made by turning the TEMPERATURE CONTROL knob slightly toward the
WARMER or COOLER setting until a constant desired room or shelter temperature is maintained. Should temperature
continue to rise with the temperature control adjusted to the extreme COOLER setting, turn MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
to the LOW HEAT position.
e. Operating the unit for ventilation only. (No heating or cooling desired.)
(1) Turn the MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to the LOW HEAT position.
(2) Turn the TEMPERATURE CONTROL as far as it will go toward the COOLER position.

Shutdown.
(1) Turn the MODE SELECTOR SWITCH to OFF.

NOTE
Military operational considerations permitting, power should be maintained to the
air conditioner during periods or normal shut down and should be disconnected or
turned off only if the unit is to be serviced or during periods of extended
shutdown. (See paragraph 2-4.a.(2), page 2-5.)
