Model Number and Equipment Name: TM-18K-120/208-3-60 - Air Conditioner, Multi-
purpose, 18,000 BTU/HR.
P u r p o s e of Equipment: The air conditioner can be used in temporary buildings, shel-
t e r s , mobile vans and trailers. The unit accomplishes three functions; cooling, de-
humidification and ventilation.
MAINTENANCE FORMS AND RECORDS.

D e p a r t m e n t of the Amy fores and procedures used for equipment maintenance will be
those prescribed by DA PAM 738-750, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
REPORTING EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS (EIR's).

I f your air conditioner needs improvments, let us know. Send us an EIR. You, the
u s e r , are the only one who can tell us what you don't like about your equipment.
L e t us know why you don't like the design. Tell us why a procedure is hard to per-
f o r m . Put it on an SF 368 (Quality Deficiency Report). Mail it to us at U. S. Army

EQUIPMENT PURPOSE.

T h e tactical design of the 18,000 BTU/HR air conditioner allows it to be used in
m a n y d i f f e r e n t t y p e i n s t a l l a t i o n s . T h e s e include temporary buildings and shelters,
m o b i l e vans and trailers. The unit accomplishes three functions; cooling (air con-
ditioning), dehumidification, and ventilation.
1-6. CAPABILITIES AND FEATURES.
T h e air conditioner is semi-portable and has a capacity of 18,000 BTU/HR. The unit
m a y be operated on 120 or 208 volts, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz power. It is shipped wired
