Section I. Introduction

c o n d i t i o n e r to help you inventory items r e q u i r e d f o r s a f e a n d e f f i c i e n t o p e r a t i o n .

T h e components of end item list are divided into the following sections:

SECTION II. Integral Components of the End Item.

These items, when assembled, comprise the air conditioner and must accompany it when

e v e r it is transferred or turned in. These illustrations will help you identify these

items.

SECTION III. Basic Issue Items.

T h e s e are minimum essential items required to place the air conditioner in operation,

t o operate it and to perform emergency repairs. Although shipped separately packed,

t h e y must accompany the air conditioner during operation and whenever it is trans

f e r r e d between accountable officers. The illustrations will assist you with hard

t o find items. This manual is your authority to requisition replacement BII based

on Table(s) of Organization and Equipment (TOE) /Modification Table of Organization

and Equipment (MTOE) authorization of the end item.

EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS.

ILLUSTRATION. This column is divided as follows:

( 1 ) FigureNunber. I n d i c a t e s the figure number of t h e i l l u s t r a t i o n o n

which the item is shown (if applicable).

(2) Item Number. The number used to identify item c a l l e d out in the

illustration.

b. NATIONAL STOCK NUMBER (NSN). I n d i c a t e s the national stock number assign-

ed to to the end item which will be used for requisitioning.

PART NUMBER P/N. Indicates the primary number used by the manufacturer

which controls the design and characteristics of the item by means of its engineering

drawings, specifications, standards and inspection requirements to identify an item

o r range of items.

DESCRIPTION. Indicates the federal item name and, if required, a mini-

m u m description to identify the item.

L O C A T I O N . The physical location of each item listed is given in this
