Perform   the   pressure   test   in   the   following   manner: a.   Turn   the   rotary   selector   switch   to   COOL,   and   the   temperature   control thermostat   to   maximum   DECREASE   at   65   degrees   F   (18   degrees   C)   or g r e a t e r. b . Slowly   open   the   suction   line   and   discharge   line   service   valves   to which   pressure   gauges   have   been   connected. c.   Let   the   air   conditioner   operate   for   at   least   15   minutes   in   the   cooling retie,   so   that   all   parts   of   the   system   are   stabilized. d. Record  the  temperatures  indicated  by pressures   indicated   by   both   pressure both   thermometers   and   the gauges. e.   Compare   the   readings   obtained   from   pressure   testing   with   the   normal ranges  shown  in  Table  5-2.
