Compresses low pressure refrigerant vapor from the
evaporator into high pressure, high temperature vapor.
Cools the hot, high pressure refrigerant gas causing it to
condense into high pressure liquid refrigerant.
Prevents migration of liquid refrigerant into the compressor
in cold weather.
Cools and dehumidify air before it enters the room.
Removes any traces of moisture from the refrigerant system.
Interrupts power to the compressor when the refrigerant
