Clean  coil  with  a  soft  bristled  brush,  vacuum
cleaner
brush
attachment,
or
use
compressed
air
at
30
psi

When using  compressed  air  wear
Take  care  to  avoid  fin  damage.
Dirt  can  be  blown  into  your  eyes.

Should  a  leak  or  major  damage  be  evident  refer  to  direct  support
maintenance.
Assemble.

The  L1  and  L2  Solenoid
compressor  compartment.
Disconnect  input  power  from  the  air  conditioner
before  performing  maintenance  on  any  part  of  the
electrical  system.
The  voltages  used  can  be  lethal.
The  following  basic
instructions  apply  to  both  the
by-pass  solenoid  L1
and  the  pressure  equalizer
solenoid  L2.
Test.
a.
(1)
Disconnect
power
at
power
source.
(2) (Models F18H-3S and F18H-1S) Remove fabric cover and top
(Models  F18H-3SA  and  F18H-3SB)  Remove
rear  cover
fabric  cover  and  top  cover  (para  4-11).
(3)  Disconnect  the  solenoid
valve
connector
plug.

L1
solenoid  and  P9  for  L2  solenoid.
