Check  that  the  hose  from  the  low  pressure  charging  valve  is
connected  to  the  compound  gage  side  of  the  charging  manifold.
The
hose  from  the  high  pressure  charging  valve  should  be  connected  to
the  pressure  gage  side  of  the  charging  manifold.

Connect  center  hose
from
charging
manifold
to
a
well
charged
drum  of  Refrigerant-22.
Loosen  hose
connections
to
the
two
air
conditioner
charging

valves slightly.

Open
the
two
charging
manifold
valves.
f.
Open  Refrigerant-22  tank  valve  slightly  to  allow  a  small
amount o f  r e f r i g e r a n t  t o  p u r g e  a i r  f r o m  h o s e s .
Tighten  hose
connections  at  the  air  conditioner  charging  valves.
