4-26. Condenser Fan Cover(s)
This task covers:
a. Removal
b. Inspection
c. Replace
d. Installation
Initial setup.
Tools:
Tool kit, service, refrigeration unit NSN 5180-00-596-1474
Personnel: 1
REMOVAL
1.
Using screwdriver, remove four screws (1).
2.
Remove cover (2).
INSPECTION
1.
Check that cover (2) is not bent, cracked, or punctured.
2.
Check that gasket is not torn, loose, or missing.
3.
Refer repair to Intermediate Direct Support Maintenance.
REPLACE
For damage of greater extent, replace condenser fan cover.
INSTALLATION
1.
Align mounting holes with casing fasteners.
2.
Using screwdriver, secure cover (2) to casing with four screws (1).
