INSTALLATION

Position valve in unit.

NOTE

New valves are normally shipped with internal parts loosely assembled. Remove

internal parts prior to brazing. Be sure that valve is reassembled after brazing is

complete.

While purging the system with nitrogen, braze the tubing joints. See para 5-10 and 5-11.

Replace dehydrator. See para 5-16.

Leak test the newly connected joints and all connections in those areas. See para 5-12.

Evacuate and charge the system. See para 5-13 and 5-14.

Check that valve stem and hose connection protective caps (1) and (2) are in place on valves.

NOTE

FOLLOW ON MAINTENANCE:

Install lower front panel. See para 4-24.

Connect power.
