INTRODUCTION
General
To ensure that the air conditioner is ready for operation at all times, it must be inspected systematically so that the
defects may be discovered and corrected before the result is serious damage or failure. Defects discovered during
operation of the unit shall be noted for future corrections to be made as an operation has ceased. Stop operation which
would damage the equipment if operation were to continue. All deficiencies and shortcomings shall be recorded together
with the corrective action taken on DA Form 2404 or DA Form 5988E, Equipment Inspection and Maintenance
Inspection Worksheet, at the earliest opportunity. If your equipment fails to operate, troubleshoot with proper equipment.
Report any deficiencies using proper forms. See DA PAM 738-750.
