CAUTION
When performing Steps (2) through (4), ensure hoses and wire harness are routed away from exhaust
manifold and exhaust pipes. Hoses and wire harness must be routed between coolant lines and power
pack structure. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
In Steps (2) through (4), hose 2522, hose 2524 and the end of wire harness with wires 1055 and 1056 will
be routed under cab but will not be attached to heater/evaporator components until the heater/evaporator
is installed.
To aid in routing hose 2522, hose 2524, and wire harness to area under cab, lay hoses and wire harness on
passenger side fender where spare tire sits. While one person feeds the hoses or wire harness from
passenger side fender, another person inside the cab, reaching through electronic control box opening, can
pull hoses or wire harness forward.
To allow for repositioning of hoses and wire harness, do not secure hoses and wire harness until after
installation of condensor and heater/evaporator.
2.
With the aid of an assistant, route hose 2522 (3) between power pack structure (4) and coolant line (5) and
pull forward to cab.
3.
With the aid of an assistant, route hose 2524 (6) between power pack structure (4) and coolant line (5) and
pull forward to cab.
4.
With the aid of an assistant, route wire harness (7) between power pack structure (4) and coolant line (5)
and pull forward to cab.
