10. Using a 1/8 in. drill bit, remove four
rivets (9) and radiator fan warning
label (10) from panel (1). Discard
four rivets (9) and radiator fan
warning label (10).
NOTE
If condensor does not have
connector installed on two wires,
perform steps 11 through 21.
If condensor has connector
installed on two wires, go to
step 22.
11. From edge of condensor (11), cut two
wires (12 and 13) to 8 in. (203.2 mm).
CAUTION
Strip wire after placing it through seal.
Failure to comply may cause damage to
equipment.
12. Insert 1 in. (25.4 mm) of black wire (12)
through seal (14).
13. Strip end of black wire (12), leaving
1/4 in. (6 mm) of bare wire.
14. Insert contact socket (15) in locating
hole of crimper using proper hole
according to the gage of black wire (12).
15. Slide seal (14) down to end of insulation
on black wire (12).
16. Position wire (12) on contact
socket (15).
17. Press handles of crimper together until
ratchet releases and crimping is
complete.
18. Repeat Steps (12) through (17) for green
wire (13).
19. Push contact socket (15), seal (14)
and wire (12) through position A on
connector (16).
20. Push contact socket (15), seal (14) and green
wire (13) through position B on connector (16).
21. Close secondary lock (17) on connector (16).
