COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT (CONT)

Remove three front plate mounting screws and three lockwashers.
Remove front plate.

Remove shaft key.
8.
Remove external snapring (smaller one).
9.
Remove centrifugal clutch assembly from compressor.
INSTALLATION

Drain oil from new compressor.
Add 5 oz (148 ml) of the oil back
to new compressor.
Install centrifugal clutch and bearing assembly on compressor
shaft.
Make sure assembly is flush with compressor front housing
hub .
Install external bearing snapring.
Install shaft key.
Install front plate in alignment with shaft key.
Loosely install three mounting screws and three lockwashers in
front plate.
Install, locknut in center of front plate.
Tighten three front plate mounting screws.
