Rearrange items in refrigerator enclosure.
Step 5. Check for loose or missing drive belts. 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) deflection midway between pulleys.
Contact organizational maintenance if belts are loose or missing.
3. INSUFFICIENT COOLING.
Step 1. Check for excessive leakage of warm air into enclosure.
Keep enclosure door closed and check gaskets for leaks.
Step 2. Check coils for blockages.
Remove obvious blockages from outsides of screens. If coils are dirty or clogged inside of
screens contact organizational maintenance.
Step 3. Check the refrigerant sight glass.
If after 15 minutes of operation, the refrigerant has a milky appearance, bubbles are present
or the center indicator has a pink color contact organizational maintenance.
Step 4. Thermostat may be set too high.
Contact organizational maintenance.
Step 5. Check arrangement of items in refrigerator enclosure for free air passage to and from evaporat or
coil.
Rearrange items in refrigerator enclosure.
Step 6. Check for loose or missing drive belts. 1/2 inch (1.13 cm) deflection midway between pulleys.
Contact organizational maintenance if belts are loose or missing.
