Figure  4-5. c.   Cleaning,   Inspection   and   Repair.   Clean, inspect  and  repair  covers  as  follows: (1)  Brush  off  any  loose  dirt  or  foreign  matter from gaskets and insulation. Wipe off tops of metal parts with a cloth dipped in cleaning solvent (Fed. Spec.  P-D-680).  Wash  dirt  from  condenser  cover. (2)   Inspect   metal   covers   for   distortion   and damaged  or  loose  gaskets  and  insulation.  Inspect canvas  cover  for  torn  condition  and  for  damaged fasteners. (3)  Straighten  a  bent  metal  cover,  cement  or replace  loose  or  damaged  gaskets  and  insulation. Housing  Covers. Replace cover if it will not form a satisfactory seal after repair. (4)  Repair  torn    areas  of  condenser  cover. Replace  cover  if  damage  is  extensive. d.  Installation.  Refer  to  figure  4-5  and  install covers  as  follows: (1)  Install  thermostatic  switch  bracket  on center  cover  and  secure  with  two  screws.  Install center  cover  and  seven  screws. (2) Install rear cover and eight screws. Install condenser cover and four screws ‘and lock washers. (3)  Install (4)  Install access  cover  and  four  screws. front  cover  and  12  screws. 4-12
