3-6 Air Filter Inspection and Service
a. Inspection.
(1) Remove intake grille, fig. 4-5.
(2) Remove air filter, fig. 3-2.
(3) Inspect filter for dirt.
b. Service.
(1) Wash filter in hot water or approved solution.
(2) Dry with compressed air.
(3) Spray with light coat of oil.

Refer to figures 4-4 and 4-5 and inspect panels, grilles, and screens.
