DIRECT SUPPORT MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Section I REPAIR PARTS, SPECIAL TOOLS, TMDE, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

4-1. GENERAL

a. For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE)

applicable to your unit.

b. Test, maintenance, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) and support equipment include electrical test equipment,

standard pressure and vacuum gages, vacuum pups and charging manifolds found as standard equipment in any direct

support refrigeration shop.

c. Repair parts are listed and illustrated in the Repair Parts and Special Tools (RPSTL) list covering organizational,

direct support, and general support maintenance for this equipment.

d. Tool Kit, Service, Refrigeration Unit, NSN 5180-00-597-1474, contains hand tools and equipment used for air

conditioner maintenance. The following common items not contained in the refrigeration unit tool kit are also required for

air conditioner maintenance.
