(4) Remove nuts (13), washers (14, 15), screws (16) and clamp (17),
then remove filter drier (12) from unit.
Installation.
c.
(1) Position filter drier (12) on bracket (19) with direction of flow
a r r o w pointing up. Secure filter drier with clamp (17), screws (16), washers ( 1 5 , 14 )
a n d nuts (13).
( 2 ) C o n n e c t tubes with flare n u t s ( 1 ) t o i n l e t a n d o u t l e t c o n n e c t i o n s on
filter drier.
( 3 ) P u r g e opened refrigerant s y s t e m in accordance with paragraph 4-9.
( 4 ) Open shutoff valves and return unit to service.
( 5 ) Refer to figure 3-7 and install panels.

a .  General.
T h e refrigerant sight glass (9, figure 4-7) is located on the
l e f t e n d o f t h e c o n d e n s e r f a n s e c t i o n a s Y O U face the control panel. It is used to
indicate a low refrigerant charge.
b.
Removal.
( 1 ) Pump down the refrigerant system in accordance with paragraph 4-6.
(2) Remove end panel from left end of condenser fan section by turning
fasteners one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
(3) Close shutoff valve and outlet valve in liquid line. (See figure
4-3 ) .
( 4 ) Loosen flare nuts (1, figure 4-7) and remove s i g h t g l a s s ( 9 ) f r o m
unit.
Installation.
c.
( 1 ) P o s i t i o n sight glass (9) in unit and connect a n d t i g h t e n f l a r e n u t s
(l).
( 2 ) P u r g e opened sction of refrigerant system in a c c o r d a n c e with para-
graph 4-9.
( 3 ) C h a r g e t h e r e f r i g e r a n t s y s t e m in accordance with paragraph 4-10,
( 4 ) O p e n valves to restore u n i t t o s e r v i c e ,
( 5 ) R e p l a c e end panel.

a.
General.
The condenser c o i l may be removed from its section without
