EVAPORATOR Installation: COIL WARNING Avoid   contact   with   refrigerant   acid.    Burns  could  result  from  contact  with refrigerant. WARNING Refrigerant  R-22  is  contained  in  the  refrigerant  system  under  high  pressure. Extreme  care  must  be  exercised  to  prevent  refrigerant  from  coming  in  contact with  exposed  skin  and  eyes.    Provide  adequate  ventilation  when  discharging  the system   in   a   confined   area.   All  refrigerant  gas  must  be  discharged  from  system before   performing   any   removal   procedures   of   refrigerant   components. CAUTION Maintain   a   1-2   cpm   (0.1-0.2   M³   Min)   flow   of   dry   nitrogen   through   the refrigeration  system  to  prevent  oxidation  and  scaling  when  brazing  or  debrazing components. 1.   Align   evaporator   coil   (9)   with   housing   and   secure   evaporator   coil   to   housing   with   six screws  (7)  and  eight  lock  washers  (8). 2. 3. 5-10 4. Braze  in  accordance  with  paragraph  5-10,  page  5-12. Test,  evacuate  and  charge  system  in  accordance  with  paragraphs  5-8  through  5-14,  page through  5-19. Install   expansion   valve   in   accordance   with   paragraph   5-19,   page   5-40. 5-81
