CHAPTER 3
OPERATOR’S MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION. This chapter contains all the necessary maintenance instruction to keep
your air conditioner in good repair.
SECTION I. LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS
3-1. LUBRICATION. The unit is fully lubricated by the manufacturer and requires no
additional lubrication.
SECTION II. TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
3-2. TROUBLESHOOTING.
a. Table 3-1 provides information useful in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions which you
may find during the operation or maintenance of the unit or its components. Perform the
tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.
b. This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and
corrective actions. If a malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective
actions, notify your supervisor.
