The compressor and motor assembly are hermetically sealed in a metal canister and
are not repairable.
The heater may be replaced without opening the refrigerant
pressure system.

Preliminary Inspection/Test
(1) Electrically test the heater element, heater thermostat,
harness, and motor as follows.
(2) Disconnect wiring harness at connectors P3 and J3
compressor junction box).
