4-24. Lower Front Panel

Personnel: 1

Equipment condition:

Turn unit power off at power source. If there is a chance that it will be turned on, also disconnect power cable

to air conditioner.

General Safety Instructions:

WARNING

Disconnect input power to the air conditioner before performing any internal

maintenance. Voltages used can KILL. Shutting the unit off at the control panel

does not disconnect unit power.

REMOVAL

Using screwdriver, loosen three captive panel fasteners (1).

Remove panel (2). Tilt top of lower front panel out and lift panel up to remove.

INSPECTION

Check that panel is not bent, cracked, or punctured.

Check that gaskets and insulation are not tom, loose, or missing.

Check that information plates are readable and in place.

Refer repair of panel, gaskets, and insulation to Intermediate Direct Support Maintenance.
