This task covers:

Tool kit, service, refrigeration unit NSN 5180-00-596-1474
Personnel: 1
Materials:
Rags (Appendix E, item 9)
Oil (Appendix E, item 14)
Silicone Spray (Appendix E, item 18)
REMOVAL
1.
Roll cover down and secure snap fasteners.
2.
Using wrench remove two turn button fasteners (1).
3.
Using screwdriver remove twenty six screws (2) and washers (3).
4.
Carefully remove the fabric cover (4).
CLEANING
1.
Wipe clean with rag and mild detergent solution.
2.
Thoroughly rinse with fresh water and dry.
INSPECTION
1.
Check for ri ps, cuts, tears, or punctures in the fabric.
2.
Check for damaged, loose, or missing eyelets and snap fasteners.
