REPAIR/REPLACE
NOTE
Repair consists of replacing thermal overload or fan contactor.
1.
Remove two screws (1).
2.
Remove thermal overload (2).
3.
Place thermal overload (2) in mounting position.
4.
Install two screws (1).
INSTALLATION
1.
Fungus proof replacement fan contactor per MIL-V-173.
2.
Place fan contactor (3) in mounting position.
3.
Install four screws (4), eight flat washers (5), and four locknuts (6).
4.
Reconnect contactor assembly leads and remove tags.
FOLLOW ON PROCEDURE
1.
Close left electric plate (para 4-30).
2.
Install center front evaporator panel (para 4-22).
3.
Install right front evaporator panel (para 4-25)
4.
Connect air conditioner input power at source.
