Heater Elements
a.
Disconnect incoming power to unit.
and Thermostats

Remove top cover (see para. 4-14).
c.
Wipe or vacuum any remaining dust or dirt from the heating
elements, the thermostat and all other components and surfaces in
the area.
d.
Inspect heating elements and thermostat for obvious damage, and
all mounting hardware for tightness and security.
e.
Inspect wiring harness for damage or chaffing and all electrical
connections for tightness, tighten as needed.
