Inspection
(1)
Check fan for dents, bent or loose fan blades.
(2)
Verify that the fan blades are securely attached to the hub.
(3)
Replace a damaged or defective fan.
c. Installation
(1)
Maneuver condenser fan in scroll cavity.
(2)
Secure the inlet cone to scroll with six screws and six lock washers.
Follow-on procedure:
Install condenser scroll (See para. 4-28).
Install condenser fan motor (See para. 4-25).
