Test (Installed)
(1)
Tag and remove leads.
(2)
Using multimeter and switch set to OFF, conduct a continuity test across the two switch
terminals. A continuity reading indicates a defective circuit breaker that must be replaced.
(3)
Using multimeter and switch set to ON, conduct a continuity test across the two switch
terminals. No continuity indicates a defective circuit breaker that must be replaced.
c.
Removal
(1)
Tag and disconnect leads.
(2)
Remove screw and lockwasher from circuit breaker and remove circuit breaker.
d.
Installation
(1)
Remove screw and lockwasher from replacement circuit breaker.
(2)
Install circuit breaker in housing.
(3)
Use multimeter to verify orientation of ON-OFF of breaker switch corresponds to ON-OFF
designation on housing identification plate.
(4)
Secure circuit breaker to housing using nut and lockwasher.
(5)
See tags and wiring diagram (FO-1) and reconnect leads. Remove tags.
