4-52. JUNCTION BOX WIRING HARNESS
Preliminary procedure: Remove junction box. (See para. 4-46).
WARNING
Voltages used can kill. Always disconnect power cord to air conditioner before performing any internal
maintenance. Shutting unit off at its control module does not disconnect unit power.
a. Inspection
(1)
Check connector J1 for general condition and loose, brokenor missing contacts. Replace if
damaged.
(2)
Check individual wires for loose solder connections, loose terminal lug connections, cut or
frayed insulation and cut or broken wires. Replace and repair as needed.
