Column (3)-Description. Indicates the Federal item name and, if required, a minimum description to
identify and locate the item. The last line for each item indicates the FSCM (in parentheses) followed by
the part number.

Column (4)-Unit of Measure (U/M). Indicates the measure used in performing the actual
operation/maintenance function. This measure is expressed by a two-haracter alphabetical
abbreviation
(e.g., ea, in, pr).

Column (5)-Quantity required (Qty rqt). Indicates the quantity of the item authorized to be used with/on
the equipment.
