Remove caps from the two service valve hose connections.
2
Connect the charging manifold hoses to the manifold and air conditioner service valves.
3
Attach a hose assembly to the center connection of the manifold.
4
Place the open end of the center connection hose in a container that is located in a well-ventilated
area.
5
Open both manifold valves.
WARNING
Refrigerant R-22 must be recaptured in a recycling/reclaiming machine. R-22 cannot be
vented into the air. Do not discharge near open flame.
