TORQUE LIMITS
This appendix lists standard torque values and provides general information and methods for
applying torque.  Special torque values and sequences are indicated in the maintenance
procedures for applicable components.
To determine breakaway torque, thread nut onto screw or
bolt until at least two threads stick out. Nut shall not
make contact with a mating part. Stop the nut.  Torque
necessary to begin turning nut again is the breakaway
torque.  Do not reuse selflocking nuts that do not meet
minimum breakaway torque.
