Disconnect input power source before performing this maintenance task.
a. Remove seventeen (17) screws securing left side panel to

housing.
b. Remove left side panel.
a. Remove nine (9) screws securing top rear panel to housing.
2. Top Rear Panel
b. Remove top rear panel.
The start relay may be tested while installed in the air conditioner. To gain
access to the start relay, remove the left side panel and top rear panel, and
remove cover on compressor to expose start relay.
