(24) Locate exhaust horizontal shield (30711-100) from exhaust kit. Set on top of generator so as

to cover exhaust pipe. Locate two (2) screws in top of generator as shown in Figure 18A and

18B. Remove the shield and two screws located on generator. These screws have nuts on the

inside of the generator on the other side of the sheet metal, therefore the access panel on the

side below the exhaust will need to be opened to access the nuts. Save these nuts and bolts for
