Slip  plate  and  filter  out  and  support  filter. Capacitors  can  retain  a  high  electrical  charge.  Touching  terminals  of  a  charged  capacitor can result in severe electrical shock and skin burns. Always ground terminals of a capacitor as soon as they are exposed. Disconnect  the  P10  and  P11  plugs  from  the  radio  frequency  filter. Discharge  filter  capacitors  at  connector,  (J10). Using  screwdriver,  remove  six  screws  from  mounting  plate  and  filter. Separate  filter  mounting  plate  and  radio  frequency  filter. b.    lnspection/Test (1)  Check  radio  frequency  filter  for  dents,  punctures,  and  evidence  of  overheating. (2)  Check  connectors  J10  and  J11  for  loose,  missing,  or  broken  contacts. loose,   missing,   or   broken (3)   Replace   filter   if   badly   dented,   punctured,   burnt,   or   connectors   have contacts. (4)  Using  multimeter,  check  continuity  between  J11  contacts  A,  B,  and  C  to  filter  case.  If  continuity  is indicated,   replace   filter. 4-89
