Test the thrust bearings by
attempting to push and pull
the motor shaft axially.
Report condition to direct
support maintenance personnel.
If end play is excessive

(i.e. can be felt on manual
push-pull), the thrust bear-
ings and shims are worn beyond
limits and should be replaced.
