Remove caps from high and low
1. Charging
Valve Caps
pressure service valves.
2 . Refrigeration
a.
Connect low pressure
System Pressure
gage hose of manifold valve
to suction service valve.
b.
Connect high pressure
hose of manifold valves to
discharge service valve.
Purge hoses - open discharge
c.
and suction service valves.
d.
Check that manifold valves
are closed.
Start air conditioner.
e.
f.
Compare gage readings with
the normal range of system
pressure as shown on the
following table.
