Mist Eliminator
a. Remove, clean, and inspect the top panel.
b. Remove, clean, inspect, and service the mist
eliminator.
c. Replace the mist eliminator If it is damaged.
WARNING
Compressed air used for cleaning
purposes will not exceed 30 psi (2.1kg/
2
cm ). Do not direct compressed air
against the skin. Use goggles or full face
shield.

a. Blow accumulated dust and dirt out of the air passages
in the evaporator coil using compressed air or the
discharge side of a portable vacuum cleaner. Blow
from front to back in the opposite direction from
operational airflow.
b. Inspect coil for obvious damage and all mounting
hardware for tightness and security.
WARNING
Allow heaters to cool before touching.
Severe burns can result from touching hot
heaters

Heating Elements
a. Wipe or vacuum any remaining dust or dirt from the
heating elements, the heater thermostat, and all other
components and surfaces in the area.
NOTE
Use a clean dry cloth (or one slightly
moistened with water) for all wiping
operations. NEVER use an oily or
greasy cloth. Any oily residue left on
any surface will attract and accumulate
much more dust and dirt than dry
surfaces.
