Equipment condition:
1. Turn unit power off at power source. If there is a chance that it will be turned on, also disconnect power cable to
air conditioner.
2. Remove left conditioned air inlet grille. See para 4-22.
3. Remove lower front panel. See para 4-24.
General Safety Instructions:
WARNING
Disconnect input power to the air conditioner before performing any internal
maintenance. Voltages used can KILL. Shutting the unit off at the control panel
does not disconnect unit power.
REMOVAL
NOTE
If control panel is remote mounted see para 4-8.

Using screwdriver and wrench, loosen screw (1) in loop clamp (2) that holds sensing bulb
CAUTION
Take care that sensing bulb capillary line is not kinked and that bulb and capillary
are not cut or damaged during removal.
2.
Slip sensing bulb (3) out of clamp and remove rubber grommet (4) to carefully guide capillary line and sensing bulb
down into lower compartment.
