UNIT MAINTENANCE
5.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
This task covers removal, testing, inspection, splicing wires,
crimping terminals, insulating joints and soldering connections.

Action
The electrical circuits in the air conditioner are
completed by individual wire leads or by wire leads
laced or enclosed in wire ties to form a wiring har-
ness.
All of the wiring carries code numbers.
When repairing or replacing the wiring harness or
individual wires, refer to the wiring diagrams fig-
ures FO-1, FO-3, FO-5, FO-7, or FO-9.
Disconnect air conditioner power sup-
ply before peforming maintenance
work on electrical system.
Remarks
High voltage can kill.
