Avoid contact with refrigerant being dis-
charged from compressor burnout. Acid in
refrigerant can cause burns.
NOTE
In accordance with the Environmental
Protection Agency regulations, refrig-
erants cannot be purged into the atmo-
sphere. A refrigerant recovery/recycl-
ing unit must be used whenever dis-
charging the refrigerant system.
Operation of the recovery/recycling
unit must be by AUTHORIZED
PERSONNEL ONLY.
a. Connect and operate recovery/recycling unit in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
