NOTE
In accordance with the Environmen-
tal Protection Agency regulations, re-
frigerants cannot be purged into the
atmosphere. A refrigerant recovery/
recycling unit must be used whenev-
er discharging the refrigerant system.
Operation of the recovery/recycling
unit must be by AUTHORIZED
PERSONNEL ONLY.
Purge
a. Release refrigerant charge in accordance with
Paragraph 6.4
paragraph 6.4.
b. Attach middle hose from charging manifold to dry
nitrogen cylinder valve.
c. Connect hose from charging manifold low side to
suction charging valve.
d. Open both charging valves.
