Check the expansion valve and clean or replace i t. Replace  sight  glass. Remove the burned out compressor and install the replacement. Evacuate the system. Recharge the system and put in operation. Check pressure drop across the new suction dri- er after 1 hour of operation. Change, if neces- sary, and evacuate system. After 8 to 24 hours of operation, change suction drier/filter. Check odor and color of oil. Evacuate system. After 14 days of operation, check color acidity of oil.  If  required,  change  drier/filter.  Before  clean up is completed, it is essential that oil is clean and no acid is present.
