4-42. CONNECTOR (P2) WITH LEADS
Preliminary procedure: Remove control module (See para. 4-38).
WARNING
Voltages used can kill. Always disconnect power cord to air
conditioner
before
performing
any
internal
maintenance.
Shutting unit off at its control module does not disconnect unit
power.

Inspection
(1)
Check connectors for general condition and loose, broken or missing contacts. Replace
damaged connector.
(2)
Check individual wire leads for loose solder connections, loose terminal lug connections, cut
or frayed insulation and cut or broken wires.
