REMOVAL

Discharge Bypass Valve.

CLAMP

LOCKWASHER

SCREW

DISCHARGE

BYPASS

VALVE

Using a screwdriver, remove screw, lockwasher, and clamp that holds valve to bracket.

Discharge the Refrigerant R-22 system per WP0070.

Wrap wet rags around valve body, if it is to be reinstalled.

While purging the system with nitrogen, debraze the tubing. (See WP0071 and WP0072).

Remove discharge bypass valve from unit.

INSTALLATION

Position discharge bypass valve in unit.

Wrap wet rags around valve body.

While purging the system with nitrogen, braze the tubing joints. (See WP0071and WP0072).
