Clean.

(1) Usually it is only necessary to wipe or brush the dirt

from the louver.

If the louver is extremely dirty, it can be

washed following the same procedure as the filter.

Dry cleaning solvent (Fed Spec P-D-680) used to clean

parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and

property.

Do not use near open flame or excessive

heat.

Flash point of solvent is 100F to 138F (38C

to 59C).

(2) Immerse filter in mild detergent solution or dry cleaning

solvent (Fed Spec P-D-680).
